Mad experience from 'Tenor Madness'
Visiting TM was my first goal in the states!
My first long drive ever
I thought that I was dead, because I felt like being in the heaven.
SX90R NS and three XIs.
NS was too fast for me... the darkest XI in the pic was belonged to Michael Brecker.
Almost messed my pants. I think I did a little.
If I could get a job in TM, I wouldn't need to be paid, seriously!!!
I can pay them, if it is needed!!
6x,xxx~7x,xxx Mark VI with the original receipt from great Randy's collections.
IT IS NOT FOR SALE! PLEASE DON'T SELL THEM!
The official letter that Sonny allowed Randy to use 'Tenor Madness' for the shop's name.
Me, Drew, Randy and Pippa. My best picture in my lifetime. Just bought SX90R Vintage Tenor.
I had conversation with Drew for the whole afternoon. He is the man who has the best job in the world. How much great should I be, if I want to have the job?
Their lab with the cool Coltrane's album art. There were 4~5 workers in the shop.
I could never imagine that the world greatest sax shop would be in Waterloo, Iowa.
My lifetime horn!!!!!
6/30/2012 TwinCitisJazzFestival
The time was when I just came to the states. After just 3 days, since I moved to here, I saw Joshua Redman playing!!! in St.Paul!!! where I was living in!!!!!!!!
The Bad Plus with Joshua had a clinic at Mcnally Smith in afternoon.
It looked they were just warming up for the main show.
I couldn't take many photos. Just couldn't take my eyes and ears off them.
Their playing was so fascinating and special.
Everything was perfect except my terrible English, but it is getting better.
Actually it is inevitable, because I am an only Korean in Red Wing.
I can say it is fortunate.
I've never seen this size in Korea.
After the gig, many girls came to him. They looked like trying to hit on him, but he wasn't seemed happy.

9/22/2012 Twin Cities Sax Day
I paid 12$ for the admission and had refacing work from great Theo, trials of bunch saxophones, clinics from Theo Wanne and Bob Sheppard and Bob's gig. It was totally amazing day in my lifetime.
It was at Mcnally Smith College of Music
Theo working on my mouthpiece. With a little time spent for refacing job, my mouthpiece had totally changed. It was like dreaming. His work and mouthpieces are phenomenal.
Bob Sheppard is a true master. He used Mark VI with SBA neck.
